@GOtransit 2 attempts to get a refund for a cancelled train, and you finally refund me as a gesture of goodwill !! If you purchase a ticket to travel and the scheduled train is announced as delayed, and then as cancelled, WHY is that not covered under the Service Guarantee.

@GOtransit CSRs response - "When any train is cancelled before its scheduled departure time, that train is not eligible for the Service Guarantee. The Service Guarantee is for trains that have arrived at their destination late." 1/2

@GOtransit You missed my point. Your Service Updates Page advertised a cancelled train, that wasnt actually cancelled !! Stop trying to pass blame onto me, I'm your customer. Fix your website update processes.

@GOtransit you need to be more reliable with your service updates, people depend on it. Announcing the 18.40 train was cancelled when it wasn't. I know, I watched it come & go from my car whilst waiting to exit Whitby Go lot at traffic lights. A train I could have been on.

@PRESTOcard How does this trip not qualify for a refund, when the train was cancelled? Lakeshore East from Whitby to Exhibition at 17.45. The 18.15 was cancelled too, as was the 17.15. I turned around and went home.
