Sayon Keita has reportedly received his student visa, clearing the way for him to travel to Chapel Hill and officially join the team. The deadline for players to arrive before fall classes begin is August 17, so he is expected to be en route in the coming days and is expected arrive as early as this weekend.

Keita is still awaiting NCAA clearance, but that process does not impact his ability to join the team or travel to campus. It only affects his eligibility for the upcoming season, not his arrival timeline.
