One of the great things about having toddlers is that you get to feel like one of the great comedic performers of our age. Tonight I picked up a plastic toy horse and made the wrong animal noise for it (“moo,” which is traditionally for a cow not a horse) and the bit absolutely killed with the 4 and under demo in my house. The encore performance was even better received. I am a genius of improv comedy as far as my toddlers are concerned.
@upside Credit where credit is due: thank you @upside for handling this and getting my gift card to me! Fingers crossed that was a one-time hiccup. But thanks again!
@upside Ticket was submitted but all of the resources point to a discrepancy regarding an offer processing. I cashed out earned money for a gift card that never showed up.

Tired of this excuse. First of all, social security is not something you “pay into.” If it were, you wouldn’t need younger people to “pay into it” in order to get your check. But you do. Because this is a Ponzi scheme, not a retirement account. What you really mean to say is that your money was stolen from you — which it was — and now you want to steal from younger people to get restitution. That’s the actual case you’re making and it’s exactly as morally deranged as it sounds.
Second, your generation continually for decades voted for politicians who would keep the scheme going. You might not have invented social security, but you damn sure made certain it kept going. Why should younger people have to pay the price for the shitty policies you supported?
Third, you “paid into” social security in a different time. The country is now bankrupted and 40 trillion dollars in debt, and basic things like housing are prohibitively expensive. It wasn’t like that when you were young, because your generation of leadership created this problem.
So the theme here is that there are a bunch of problems you guys either created or contributed to. You can choose to pay the price for that now, or force your grandchildren to pay the price so you can live comfortably until you die and leave them holding the bag. You’ve chosen the latter, and I think that’s wrong. Simple as that.
Something I can't get behind here.
HOW is the rule that you can just catch it on the bounce and it's an out? That's the most Banana ball shit possible.
Wanna say dead ball on these and it's a foul ball? No problem, but that can't be in play.
Consider this my semi-annual request to Nike to bring back the Flyknit Trainer, perhaps this time with a padded collar.
Another fantastic shoe from the 2010 era 🔥
