@SSeasonally@mkdaxx@xandzr Never seen him disagreeing against human rights but I never intended to make my point around his character, rather about the fundamental value of life which is the reason our civilatiation has evolved to where it is now
@SSeasonally@mkdaxx@xandzr Agreeing to disagreeing is mostly what I've seen him do and promote, as a matter of fact. I don't understand what the last comment is about but alright
@SSeasonally@mkdaxx@xandzr I'm against celebrating a killing . If you're simlply not sad about it then I'm not adressing you. That said, I've heard some of Kirk's opinions and I've never seen him celebrate death.
@xandzr@SSeasonally@mkdaxx I can understand people's experiences leading them toward fascist ideals as well. I just think it's crucial to state that killing is never justiafiable, since engraving that value in our culture is one of the main reasons why we're now alive, healthy and well
@SSeasonally@mkdaxx@xandzr "Political violence is ok" meaning "It's ok to kill people who I don't agree with" meaning fascism. Having opinions is not murder nor opression, even if that's what's been preached recently. If you're happy he got killed you have a murdeous soul that's too sacred to act itself
@SSeasonally@mkdaxx@xandzr then he died on his hill, still irrelevant to why are people cheering for the death of an innocent man. you either think killing is good or you think it's bad.
@mkdaxx@xandzr You simply don't get to say that murder is bad and evil and at the same time argue that it's a good thing someone murdered Kirk because he was promoting policies you disagree with. Why do you want the killer in jail if he did a good thing? Either you support murder or you don't.
@mkdaxx@xandzr The main purpose of the second amendment (which I'm not defending) is to give well-intented people the tools to defend themselves against criminals and the government if it comes to it. I, same as you, see the flaws with it, still fail to see why you're cheering for a murderer
