@TrussyGalore@jacknolan__ I’ll agree with you on the point of it’s not a race thing at its core , I doubt the security treated him like that solely because he was black. But it’s being made into a race thing by both sides. The real issue is an absolute complete abuse of power and an absence in training
@TrussyGalore@jacknolan__ Of course not but heavy handed security aren’t the judge, jury or executioner? Awful situation for the elderly man who should not have been assaulted but let’s be real people wouldn’t be bringing it up if the perpetrators name wasn’t Yves.
@eamonn_kelly1@Suhlley@OldNormality I agree with you on that stance my apologies, I thought you were replying to me . I was replying to the person/people who try to use the assault of the elderly man as a “gotcha” when in reality both are genuinely horrible events which shouldn’t have happened.
@Suhlley@eamonn_kelly1@OldNormality Of course, I’d say most people hope the elderly man is okay . But people using it as a gotcha is abit weird ngl , the big issue is the excessive use of force by security. Someone shoplifting doesn’t make arnotts security judge jury and executioner.
@Old_Dubliner@micheal_olainn Arnotts security are not judge jury and executioner either , you can call him a scumbag and a criminal and obviously wish the best for the innocent man injured while also calling out an absolutely horrible use of force by shop security.
@O_CHANNI@RichieBrave So what is your suggestion then , I do understand where you are coming from but you can’t “keep him away until he is calm” that’s not how Tourette’s works , yes stressful environments may bring it out more but sitting in a room or whatever wouldn’t stop it.
