Today, I was happy to meet Mr.Girma Wake (CEO of Uganda Airlines) and his team. We are determined to support him and @UG_Airlines to achieve all their goals. God bless Uganda.
I thank Pastor Adeboye and Bishop LaDonna Osborn for joining us on this important occasion. I also reminded religious leaders that the substance of Christianity is to heal the sick, feed the hungry and free those in bondage, as Jesus came to do.
I congratulate Bishop Patience and wish her strength and wisdom as she takes on this new responsibility.
2026 is forever marked as a year of deliverance. Lord, You delivered me when the enemy came like a flood. Thank You for proving Yourself true and faithful.~ Mrs. Janet K. Museveni
Today, Maama and I were very happy to witness the consecration of our daughter, Patience , as a Bishop of Covenant Nations Churches in Uganda after 20 years of ministry.
I thank God for Maama’s recovery and salute the medical staff, as well as our children, Muhoozi, Natasha, Patience and Diana, who stood with her throughout. I also thank God for making Patience a Bishop. As I said, our family has been here for generations, and although the different religions came to our area many years ago, it was only in 1947 that Mzee Kaguta joined the Church. Today, I have a whole Bishop in the family.
Congratulations, Pastor Patience, on your consecration as an Episcopal Bishop! 🎉🙏🏽 May God grant you divine wisdom, abundant grace, and a powerful anointing to serve Him and His people. Congratulations, Bishop! 👏🏽 🤍
Today, Maama Janet and I welcomed and hosted Pastor Enoch Adeboye and his dear wife, Pastor (Mrs.) Folu Adeboye, the global leaders of the Redeemed Christian Church of God from Nigeria, at State House Entebbe.
Christianity has added value to our ancient African cultures. Teachings such as loving your neighbour, loving even those with whom you disagree instead of seeking revenge, and the parable of the Good Samaritan are consistent with the NRM principle of putting interests above identity.
These values have strengthened our heritage as a people. We are grateful to Pastor Adeboye and all our friends who have come to witness the consecration of our daughter, Patience, as a Bishop tomorrow in Maya. We welcome you all.
Today, I joined H.E. the President in welcoming international evangelist Bishop Dr. LaDonna C. Osborn to State House Entebbe.
It was a special and deeply nostalgic meeting for me as I remembered her late mother, who visited our family many years ago. She prayed with us and gave each of our children their first Bible, together with one of her books. The memories of that visit remain very precious to our family.
Sudan’s outgoing Ambassador to Uganda, His Excellency Ahmed Ibrahim Ahmed, paid me a courtesy visit at State House Entebbe to bid me farewell. We discussed matters of mutual interest. I wish him good luck.
This is so lovely & heartwarming!
We thank God for healing Mama @JanetMuseveni . Congratulations Hama & afande CDF @mkainerugaba on this milestone!
I praise God for His special grace upon our cherished Maama @JanetMuseveni.
It is a joy to see her witness and celebrate the achievement of her grandson, Ruhamya, as he joins the @MODVA_UPDF family after graduating from Sandhurst. This is a testimony of God’s faithfulness and grace across generations.
I also thank the President & C.I.C H.E. Gen @KagutaMuseveni for grooming a second generation of UPDF officers grounded in patriotism, discipline and service to country. Your leadership continues to inspire.
My special appreciation goes to Afande CDF, Gen. @mkainerugaba, my mentor, for guiding your son to embrace patriotism and national service.
Congratulations 2Lt. Ruhamya Kainerugaba and 2Lt. Andrew Bakyira Ruyondo. Uganda is proud of you.
