@YourSouthend For any future posts can you reference to ensure suitable access for emergency ambulances responding from the ambulance station. Cars were parked up pavements and verge both sides. Difficult access/egress.

ED otherwise a balanced approach should be taken. I.e not gross acute neurology otherwise there is a risk it becomes another layer of bureaucracy.

@Neuro_Matt @Chris_Riggers @ParamedicRob Makes sense if HASU is not co-located with an ED. In the region where I work all ED departments have a HASU so if early face to face assessment determines non-stroke patient care transferred to ED clinicians therefore not much benefit in gross neurologies.
