Does anyone else think it’s just a bit odd that Jay Clayton, the prosecutor put in charge of the Epstein investigation, the same one Pam Bondi pointed to over and over in her testimony released just last week, was just nominated by Trump to run the entire intelligence community? https://t.co/w1PrEO92Hj
CNN aired a montage of Trump’s past claims that the U.S. was on the cusp of a deal with Iran, with Anderson Cooper noting that today’s announcement marks the 39th time he’s made a similar claim.
How it started..:
Meta’s lawyers silenced Facebook whistleblower Sarah Wynn-Williams for her @hayfestival panel with @superwuster and @carolecadwalla…

Our analysis shows that the measles virus seen in Utah as recently as May is very closely related to one that circulated in Texas a year ago.
Given our findings, one expert said it’s going to be difficult for the U.S. to prove measles isn’t endemic.

Elon Musk has so much money he could feed everyone on the planet for 11 years with direct food aid & delivery. He has that much money, to feed 8 billion people for 11 years.
Elon is only rich on paper. His soul is rotten to the core.
Trump brags that his "Reflecting Lake" is "like twice the height of the Empire State Building and much wider."
But it was made in 1923. How is it "his?" And besides... so what?
To me, there is nothing more evil than deliberately targeting people’s subconscious to benefit yourself.
It’s the ultimate theft, breaking down private psychological doors to take away freewill. As Thiel said, that has been their goal since PayPal—an “alternative to politics.”
The Hill: Joe Kent, the former director of the National Counterterrorism Center, on Trump deploying U.S. soldiers to Kharg Island: “It would essentially be giving Iran a bunch of hostages on an island that they could barrage with drones and missiles."

One of the saddest legacies of the trump Administration is @TheJusticeDept becoming a joke.
@DAGToddBlanche, @Kash_Patel and the personnel at DOJ no longer enforce the rule of law, they enforce the rule of trump. Thank goodness most judges and juries realize this reality.
Women have been saying for years that there is a growing backlash against gender equality, and every time the conversation comes up we’re told we’re imagining it.
Now the United Nations is saying it.
According to a UN report, nearly 1 in 4 countries reported setbacks in women’s rights and gender equality. Hundreds of millions of women and girls are living in conflict zones, violence against women remains widespread, and UN officials are warning about a growing backlash against women’s rights worldwide.
The part that stands out to me isn’t even the statistics. It’s that women have been raising concerns about misogyny, online hostility toward women, violence, and attacks on reproductive rights for years, only to be dismissed as overreacting.
If the UN Secretary-General is warning about the “mainstreaming of misogyny,” maybe it’s time to stop pretending these concerns came out of nowhere.
Do you think women’s rights are genuinely facing setbacks, or do you think organizations like the UN are exaggerating the problem?
Bragging that you dropped $250 million dollars worth of bombs on Iran IN ONE NIGHT, while people are starving and struggling to pay bills and can't get health insurance, is NOT the flex you think it is.
IT IS OBSCENE.
