What does an end to a perfect week approach look like @UHMBT@MorecambeBHCP@HealthierLSC … like one of top performing trusts in the country, that’s what! (We’re the blue one!) Thank you so much to all our teams… onwards into next week now! ☺️🙏🏻
2/2 Big Improvements in ED flow, reduction in "DToC" contrary to prior trend. PTS discharge journeys up sharply with fewer failed discharges. Pt safety and staff welfare No1 priorities. Trend in LLOS sharply down. Highest discharge rate on a Tuesday for 6/52
1/2 LSCTogether Update (wholesystemperfectweek) day3 : earlier bed availability both in day and in week. Occupancy dropped by as much as 3% on some sites and aggregate 1% across system. ED Perf up by 1.2% a day whilst national position is more challenged day by day.
Hospitals are not designed for the heartbreak that takes place within their walls.
Let us design hospitals with quiet places, space for reflection, privacy for sorrow, access to safe, green outside spaces, room for tender conversations.

The worst of the pandemic is hopefully behind us.
But it’s still tough out there for NHS staff and many other key workers.
So please keep them all in your thoughts, especially this #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek
A sad day today for the team as we said our farewells as our friend and colleague Louise known to us as LouLou was sadly laid to rest just as this rainbow appeared. We will all miss her so much. ❤️ Big thanks to the fab Kate Butterfield who came and manned the office for us.
