I’ve been on the ballot and have seen this for over a decade, so I know firsthand: Florida is a purple state that has suffered from years of underinvestment and weak grassroots organizing since 2018.
We are one of the largest economies and most diverse states in the country.
Democrats leading in voter turnout is a reminder of Florida’s potential. It’s past time Florida gets the attention and investment it deserves.
Another shooting. This time in Tallahassee, Florida. How many more families devastated by this senseless violence?!
I lost my father to gun violence. I know this pain, just like thousands of Floridians who’ve lost their family members, 1000 lives lost this year alone.
Yet Florida has rolled back gun safety protections, including eliminating the permit requirement for concealed carry.
We need leaders with the the political courage to stop the and protect our children.
Enough excuses! #NoMas
Sec. Rubio, it’s important to remember your own history before calling on Cubans to work with the CIA.
In 1961, the CIA-backed Bay of Pigs invasion failed, Cuban exiles paid the price, and Castro emerged stronger, consolidating the very dictatorship the operation was meant to overthrow.
65 years later, you are invoking the CIA again? I’ve met Cubans who were part of that operation and they’ve told me that they will never forget the pain, the abandonment and the suffering that came after that failed operation.
The Cuban people have paid the price of failed DC policies for generations. You’ve been in Washington for decades, it’s time to change the playbook and bring real freedom, not more false political promises from Washington.
Oh, and posting on X asking Cubans to work with the CIA is not “discreet.”
FLORIDA: As you are out there voting for governor, Senate and Congress, remember who’s been running Florida for 27 years: Republicans!
🏠 Home prices UP 78%
🏘️ Rent UP 124%
⚡ Power UP 58%
They’ve controlled Tallahassee for nearly three decades. Floridians have every right to demand accountability for the cost of living and to ask who’s been profiting from these rate hikes.
It’s time for change.
José Javier Rodríguez lost his Florida Senate seat by just 32 votes in 2020 after a GOP-linked scheme used a paid candidate with his last name to confuse voters. A former Republican senator went to jail for this.
Jose is a Harvard-educated attorney and former U.S. Assistant Secretary of Labor, he’s now running for Florida Attorney General to fight crime and corruption.
Florida voters deserve to know the truth.
Sending armed federal agents door-to-door to question Americans about their immigration status and voting history is an outrageous abuse of government power.
Voter intimidation violates federal law and strikes at the very pillars of our democracy and Constitution.
This is America, not an authoritarian regime.
It is an embarrassment to Miami that María Elvira Salazar would attack Hakeem Jeffries for simply stopping for Cuban coffee. What’s next? Denying service to people because of their politics?
Hasn’t Trump visited El Arepazo while his administration engages with Delcy Rodríguez and the Venezuelan regime?
Por favor! Spare us the selective outrage for political points.
Miami is a diverse, dynamic, cosmopolitan city. We should all feel free to enjoy a cortadito and pastelitos regardless of political ideology!
A BIG thank you to CAO Bakery for welcoming visitors from across the country. I’ll be stopping by soon!
Stop making Miami look intolerant and ignorant. We are better than this.
Watch this ad by Cuban American journalist and candidate Eliott Rodriguez against Maria Elvira Salazar representing Miami.
While Eliot was standing up to communist dictator Fidel Castro, Salazar was praising him. The fake socialism and communism attacks against Democrats is meant to distract and get votes. Miamians are finally waking up!
Watching Marco Rubio so casually dismiss Ukraine’s loss of access to critical Starlink capabilities and pretend the White House knows nothing about it is truly shameful.
This is the same Rubio who spent years condemning dictators in Venezuela and Cuba, yet now defends an administration inviting Putin to Miami for the G20.
Let’s remember that Russia helped keep Maduro in power, continues to support Cuba’s dictatorship, and is responsible for the deaths of thousands of Ukrainians.
Rubio knows all of this. He knows exactly who Putin is.
But when the hunger for power becomes more important than defending democracy, principles mean absolutely nothing. And Marco Rubio is showing us just how far he’s willing to go
My heart is with the families of the victims whose lives will never be the same after this senseless tragedy.
In a country where politicians talk about law, order and public safety, they have done nothing to address this continued violence against our children.
Let the Silver Rail Elementary School in Bend, Oregon remind Americans that we must elect leaders who will put the safety of our children above their obsession with guns.
Russia interfered in our elections in 2016 and targeted American voters with disinformation again in 2020. I know firsthand how serious this threat is and called on the FBI to investigate a disinformation campaign targeting Latino voters.
Now, it’s happening again as we approach another election. Trump easing sanctions on Russia and his close relationship with Vladimir Putin raise serious questions about American national security.
Our democracy and national security are in danger and I don’t believe the country is prepared.
I’m in Washington DC, at a lecture where legal experts are confirming what we already know: The Supreme Court has set an extraordinarily high bar for stripping naturalized Americans of their citizenship.
In Schneiderman v. United States, the Court made clear that citizenship cannot be revoked at the whim of political pressures.
These threats ahead of the midterms are intimidation tactics meant to make immigrants and people of color live in fear and stay home.
No American should fear losing their citizenship for speaking out or exercising their rights. #NoMas
This is the disinformation we’ve been analyzing and discussing since 2020. Russian propaganda has penetrated Latin America and U.S. and is one of the reasons Latinos is South Florida shifted towards Trump and the GOP.
A MAGA Republican State Senator who’s aligned herself with the extreme policies of the current administration is now trying to walk it back. This is in a Miami purplish red district. Tells you all you need to know about the current political environment.
Trump’s alliance with Putin should alarm the entire free world. He is opening the door for American dollars to flow to Russia while Putin continues killing Ukrainians.
Putin, a dangerous dictator, has propped up Maduro’s regime, interfered in our elections and threatens our allies.
And Trump is doing it just weeks before the midterms.
This is not leadership. It is a betrayal of American values and democracy and it demands accountability.
It is highly inappropriate for foreign political leaders to interfere in U.S. elections, much less endorse candidates. This is deeply disappointing.
If anyone should understand the importance of defending democracy at home and abroad, and conducting fair and free elections decided by the citizens of that country, it should be @MariaCorinaYA.
Her endorsement risks undermining the bipartisan coalition that has stood with the Venezuelan people in their fight for freedom and democracy.
As someone who has consistently championed democracy in Venezuela for years, let me also state: Our support for the Venezuelan people must never be conditioned on partisan politics in the United States. I hope that in Venezuela, leaders are guided by the same principle.
This is a powerful ad that can move voters for Jolly. Using a real constituent saying she voted for DeSantis but will vote for Jolly is top strategy.
Watch and share, not only on X but on your Whatsup, texts, Insta, TikTok all of it.
We saw it with Maduro in Venezuela’s 2024 election. Now we’re seeing it with Trump, as his administration grows closer to the Venezuelan regime.
For the first time since 2002, the U.S. is not inviting OSCE international observers to witness our federal elections.
Americans must demand transparency to protect our freedoms and the integrity of our elections.
