Adventures with Superman is great, a surprisingly fresh feeling take on Superman. You can immediately feel the anime influence from the get go.

X-Men 97' feels like a great melding of the 90's cartoon and modern X-men comics.

However I'm re-reading the Messiah War era Cable comics and the contrast of that Cable and his design Vs the cartoon is giving me whiplash.

40 years ago today, Hayao Miyazaki's epic adventure Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind was released in Japan.
