Q3: Listen to your students and watch their interactions. Do they feel comfortable sharing with their neighbors. In second grade I use the turn and talk strategy to encourage students to share. #utedchat
A2: Greeting each student in the morning and dismissing them in the afternoon with a high five, fist bump or a greeting can do a lot for building a positive classroom culture. #utedchat

When I was tutoring a second grader, I would have her write a story and then I would record her reading it. I would play it for her after and she got to hear how it sounded when she did or didn’t read with emotion or read too fast! It also helped w/ comprehension! #AppleEDUChat
