Was Battle of Mangrol Bhatwara really a Rajput vs Maratha Battle ?
Or
Did Marathas under Malhar Rao Holkar really assist Rajputs under Zalim Singh Jhala in defeating the forces of Jaipur in Battle of Mangrol Bhatwara ?
This story comes from 𝙉𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙨𝙞-𝙧𝙞-𝙆𝙝𝙮𝙖𝙩 — the original text of which is now lost and rejected as historically unreliable. Interestingly, the same text explicitly calls Shivaji what he really was — a 𝙜𝙤𝙡𝙖 (low-born bastard) of Sisodiya Rajputs.
PS : Take note of how this badzaat is unnecessarily slandering Maharani Padmini & Rajput women here. These are the values passed down from generation to generation in ‘kuleen’ Maratha families.
Cope #1 > “ Sar Lakhoji forced Mughals to retreat to Burhanpur. ”
Cope #2 > “ Sar Lakhoji forced Mughals to stay at one place for a month. ”
Cope #3 > “ Sar Lakhoji forced Mughals to call reinforcements. ”
You can keep jumping from one branch (cope) to another like a bandar, none of it will change 2 simple facts :
1 • Lakhoji was defeated in a pitched battle and forced to flee.
2 • The Imperialists fell back to Burhanpur a month later due to lack of provisions.
Not reading the complete line and highlighting just a portion of it, that’s a good example how an average ghati brain is programmed to selectively read only what supports his narrative. Here’s what my snippet actually says :
“ FOR LACK OF PROVISIONS AND FODDER, the prince, with Man Singh and other generals, had no help but to fall back on Burhanpur. ”
Now tell me what does this has to do with the humiliating defeat they inflicted on Deccanis NEARLY A MONTH AGO (on February 1610 AD) ???
Seriously, there’s really no need for you to make a fool out of yourself publicly every time ….
Lol, at least get your facts straight before coping. Udayanraje never opposed Maratha reservation, infact, he fully supported Sambhajiraje’s demands for it (although he occasionally advocated that it should be based on economic conditions). It’s funny how Marathas change the ‘de-jure head’ of their 96 koolie biradari based on the narrative.
Rajputs themselves boycott Karni Sena for their agenda of accepting the claims of every LC community (Lodhis, Kushwahas & so on) to Rajput identity, since when did they become the representatives of our community? Neither did the Rajput Royals support their demand, nor was any such scheme actually implemented for Rajputs (unlike in case of Marathas).
If any so-called ‘Rajput Arakshan Andolan’ was actually backed by Rajputs — commoners & royals alike — we would’ve secured reservation by now as well. However, unlike Marathas, Rajputs are truly proud of their royal lineage and glorious past. Statement by a Punjabi Sikh Rajput 👇
Lol, a so-called ‘Rajput Arakshan Andolan’ which literally no Rajput even knows about, let alone support in mass. Meanwhile here’s Chhatrapati Sambhaji Raje of Kolhapur — proud descendant of Shivaji — openly begging for Maratha reservation.
“ We wuz Shahnava Kuli Chhatri sarrr ”
Don’t forget these are the same people who kang as descendants of Kings & Emperors and boast about ruling entire Indian subcontinent 24/7 on social media ….
“ Ghorpades were saving South India from French onslaught sarrr …. ”
Murari Rao Ghorpade simply fought a handful of French soldiers during Siege of Trichinopoly (1751–1752) as they were fighting from the side of Chanda Saheb (Husayn Dost Khan) — the Nawab of Carnatic. Furthermore, Marathas were actively assisted by Great Britain & English East India Company in this battle. So don’t buy into this exaggerated nonsense of Murari Rao ‘saving’ South India from French onslaught & shit.
Interestingly, out of all Maratha clans, Ghorpades have the longest history of loyally serving Muslim Sultanates (kindly refer to the thread quoted below this meme).
Pratap Singh Bhonsle — the Maratha chief of Thanjavur — wrote a letter to the British complaining how Murari Rao Ghorpade ordered his horsemen-cum-robbers to raid Pratap Singh’s territory, plundering & ruining it entirely. They killed about 200-300 Brahmins and raped many women. The number of people slaughtered by them in cold blood was so large that it was impossible for anyone to count them. They behaved like barbarians, desecrating temple property and setting fire to crops & houses. He grudgingly admits how even Chanda Saheb (Husayn Dost Khan) — Pratap Singh’s former enemy and Murari Rao’s predecessor-in-power — never caused such damage & insult to his country. Such a scoundrel can be hailed as a hero only by Marathas.
Ghati bandars actually think spamming gifs & emojis makes their cope appear less stupid. Half the points here are irrelevant, but let me address them nonetheless :
1) Jahangir initially disliked Maharaja Man Singh because he did not support the Prince in his rebellious schemes against Emperor Akbar. But after coming to the throne, Jahangir realised Maharaja Man Singh capability and even remarked that none of the Rajas of Hindustan come parallel to him.
2) I don’t really understand how the matrimonial alliance of the Kachwaha Royal House with the Imperial Mughal House has to do anything with humiliating defeat Maharaja Man Singh inflicted on Lakhoji Jadhav in Deccan. Marathas themselves formed matrimonial alliances with Deccani Sultans.
3) Kindly check the tweeted quoted below, won’t repeat the same thing over & over. Did you copy-pasted the line without actually reading it?
4) The ‘demotion’ had already taken place before the starting of this Deccan campaign, it had nothing to do with Lakhoji Jadhav’s cowardly hit & run raids (in which he hardly achieved any success). But being the semi-literates they are, Marathas have a habit of coping by making such lame assumptions of their own.
You are the one who needs to learn how to read properly :
> The Deccanis (Lakhoji Jadhav & Adam Khan Habshi) blocked the path of the Imperialists 2 miles from their camp.
> A severe BATTLE was fought, in which the Deccanis were defeated and forced to flee.
> Prince Parvez & Man Singh fell back to Burhanpur afterwards due to lack of provisions, it had nothing to do with Deccanis.
And why would they even pursue the Deccanis raiders when that wasn’t their goal? Average Paratha cope of labelling cowardly hit & run raids as “muh military strategy sarrr” XD.
PS : I did not crop the snippet, I showed it in 2 different slides. But of course, being a low IQ bandar, you probably missed it.
@MamalkatMadar Specifically highlighting the name of one of the chiefs who got killed in this battle, just because he belonged to my clan, and writing ‘Lol’ doesn’t prove me incorrect.
But at this point, everyone is aware that :
1 • Your IQ is in negative
2 • You are a रेप-baby of Sisodiyas
@keshavadevarao The Deccanis blocked the path of the Imperialists, fought a pitched battle and were then forced to flee (it wasn’t just a hit & run ambush). At least read properly before crying 👇
Mahadji was literally getting steamrolled in Battle of Sipra. The Rajputs made a furious attack and were on the verge of victory. They mercilessly slaughtered the Maratha troops and made them flee. However, fortune favoured Mahadji and Rawat Jaswant Singh (an ally of Ratan Singh ji, on whose side Mahadji was fighting) came to his rescue with an army of 13000 soldiers. At last, the treachery of Kale Khan and the swelling number of opposing troops forced Maharana Ari Singh to retreat.
PS : Mewar’s revenue was estimated at least a crore by 2 contemporary authorities even at its weakest. This guy has a habit of living in denial, he was desperately trying to cancel them based on a three-line snippet from an ‘unpublished document’ of Pune Archives which he couldn’t even share publicly. Also, Maharana Ari Singh had agreed to pay 63.5 lakhs (not 65) as part of a treaty by which Mahadji was supposed to serve & protect the Maharana against his rebellious chiefs, it wasn’t any ‘tribute’.

It’s shameful how Maratha handles repost this clip to kang about ravaging Mewar on a far greater scale than even Mughals. They actually take pride on how their ancestors looted & exploited a war-torn state already crippled from prolonged resistance against invaders for centuries.
This ‘Jadu Rao Maratha’ whom Maharaja Man Singh defeated in Battle of Badnera was none other than Lakhoji Jadhav Rao — the Maratha chief of Sinkhed and maternal grand-father of Shivaji — as confirmed in 𝘽𝙖𝙙𝙨𝙝𝙖𝙝 𝙉𝙖𝙢𝙖 — the official court chronicle of Shah Jahan’s reign.
Battle of Badnera (March 1610 AD) ⚔️🛡️🔥
When Maharaja Man Singh defeated Shivaji’s maternal grand-father and belted the Nizamshahi Marathas of Ahmadnagar Sultunate, serving under Malik Ambar, in their very own territory.

#Unsung_Rajput_Heroes : Rao Jait Singh — the Rathore Rajput King who defeated Mughal Emperor Babur’s son ⚔️🛡️🔥
In the year 1537 AD, Rathore Rajputs led by Rao Jait Singh, who ruled Kingdom of Bikaner from 1526 AD to 1542 AD, defeated the Imperial Timurid-Mughal army led by 𝘽𝙖𝙙𝙨𝙝𝙖𝙝 (Emperor) Mirza Kamran — Mughal Emperor Babur’s younger son. The majority of Turco-Mongol army was put to sword and Mirza Kamran was forced to retreat back. This is one of the very few battles in which a native Hindu king single-handedly managed to defeat a Mughal sovereign in a pitched battle!
PS : Some might be wondering why Mirza Kamran is being addressed as an Emperor here when Humayun was the one who succeeded Babur? That’s because initially, Humayun & Kamran were ruling the Mughal territories co-independently but the latter slowly started severing his connections with the former. After Humayun’s exile from India (after getting defeated by Sher Shah Suri), Kamran adopted the title of 𝙋𝙖𝙙𝙨𝙝𝙖𝙝-𝙞 𝙂𝙝𝙖𝙯𝙞 (Victorious Emperor) and issued a 𝙛𝙖𝙧𝙢𝙖𝙣 (royal mandate) assuming absolute sovereignty.
