Let’s use the UK as an example:
Flu directly causes around 4 deaths per day.
Bacterial pneumonia around 55 deaths per day.
Currently Covid-19 causes around 120 deaths per day.

Dad, seven years ago today you passed on. The joy and inspiration you brought to the world carries on in your legacy and in your family, friends, and fans you so loved. You lived to bring laughter and to help others. I will be celebrating your memory today. Love you forever.

@_JuliaNim 😭😭😭😭😭 one of the best story lines in Grey's, so shocking and sad

[Lisa Chau @RLisaChau]

@_JuliaNim That's how great the script was! Good old days when you cry and there's no reason 🤣

[Gemma Chan @gemma_chan]

Proud to stand with this group of people to help bring Vincent Chin’s story to a wider audience #StopAsianHate https://t.co/qOgGWPSqcH

[Lisa Chau @RLisaChau]

@_JuliaNim I know!!! And now I feel like I've invested so much time on it that I shouldn't stop even if the storyline's bad

#AsianAmericans feel like "perpetual foreigners" in their own country, says Atlanta born #K-pop star Eric Nam @ericnamofficial And he says warning signs of anti Asian sentiment have been there - just not heeded.

@TeamKnowhowUK I've sent a refund of 2 steam cards to dpd and got a email saying your ready to refund 1 card. I sent 2. Where has the other card gone? Can you help

[Lisa Chau @RLisaChau]

@Hermesparcels I'm so furious! Why was my packaging opened during the delivery! You clearly need to screen your drivers and teach them to handle the parcels with care! @DisneyStoreGBR

@_JuliaNim Me toooo 😭😭😭 I miss my happy dance when I take my first bite off some good food

[Lisa Chau @RLisaChau]

@KLM_UK I've requested for my flight voucher refund since 17th May. Still waiting to hear back from you. It's been 4 months since. Your website said it would be refunded within 90 days!

[Lisa Chau @RLisaChau]

@_JuliaNim I need evidence 😍

[Lisa Chau @RLisaChau]

@KLM_UK @KLM My flight has been cancelled by you/colleague and was told if I wanted to change my date to April I could be charged?

[Lisa Chau @RLisaChau]

@KLM_UK @KLM Hi KLM, I've just spoken to your colleague about possible dates to move my holiday and have been told that there might be a charge. I thought it was fee-free?

I feel sorry for Netflix era kids. They will never know the high stakes adrenaline of running to the bathroom/fridge/bedroom in a single ad break, with the beckoning call of a sibling screaming “It’s ONNNNNN” to send you hurdling over furniture to get back in time.
