As far as I remember, it was Zuko who saved Appa from Lake Laogai, not Aang, who only became aware of it in Book 3. That explains why Appa showed affection to Zuko when he began to switch sides with Aang in Book 3. God, small details matter, why didn't they included this? π
I just finished watched the Avatar The Last Airbender series. I just have a mixed feelings about it. It's really one of my chilhood favs. The series is good, as well as the production. But, it's just they have skipped some of the good and important scenes. π
They also forgot that scene where Uncle Iroh sang that emotional song under the tree while remembering his deceased son. That scene from the cartoon was so heartbreaking.
That ending scene where they have battle in the waterfall, I still remembered in the cartoon that katara was so engraged when Azula killed Aang that she created BIG waves from the waterfall to defeat those Dai Li and save Aang. Where's those BIG waves?? π
Like that scene where Zuko was tempted to steal the food from the preggy and husband in the desert. In the cartoon, he was really tempted and didn't steal the food. It was one of his first redemption arc moment. But in the series, he stole the food! It just made him look bad. π
I just remembered. When we asked about our concerns before, whether it's the leadership problem (yung pinapaboran ang iilan) or faculty salary increase, you just stayed silent. Like, where's the cura personalis?
I knew this was coming. The way they handled the issues, it's the same pattern they've followed before. If they had acted with accountability and made the coach speak up, it could have gone better. But it's too late.
The issue before: about how they handled it when the issue about the sale of one of their campuses was exposed publicly. They did nothing. When I say "they," I mean the administration. The worst thing is, when they present to the community, they just sugarcoat things.
HAHAHAHA. Ilang tao na nagsabi sakin that I resemble D.O. from EXO. π€£π€£ First, some of my classmates, then my cousin, then my ex, then my workmate. Parang wala namang resemblance. π€£π€£
@wreckitfreddie Exactly. You will eventually realize that you'll be out of the league kasi tatanda at lolosyang ka rin. Doing alter is temporary, but education, it will be a powerful tool that you can have to be successful in life. How much more if you finished post graduate studies or law?
