RMAC Surgical in Etobicoke now producing “Near Medical” face masks. Samples are in the lab now for testing to ASTM F2100-19 Level 1 standards. Results by the end of August. @fordnation

@fordnation We have purchased a mask making machine that arrived last Thursday. We are now in the process of getting the machine set up for production. Materials will be based on the standards and testing will be done based in the ASTM F2100-19 standards.
We have mask making equipment coming in this week and will be producing medical masks (level 1 and level 3) available in mid June to early July. N95 will be next and producing our own polypropylene materials by end of year. Preorder now. Help us end overseas reliance on PPE.

@JustinTrudeau@Samuelsohn1923 We too will be manufacturing masks in late July to early August. Equipment is on the way. level 1, level 3 ear loop medical masks. The concern is after the pandemic when many suppliers go back overseas for PPE. We are at risk. Need laws for protection of CDN 🇨🇦 manufacturers.
