CC213 have gone up the steps, the horse has followed, and the rest of the Academy has marched off the square and back to New College…and it’s recess. See you back in a few weeks for the new term.

The Senior Term cadets raised the roof today with their singing as they attended their commissioning service before tomorrow’s Sovereign’s Parade. These are the promises they make as they head into the world as 2Lts. #ServetoLead#values@RMASandhurst@ArmyComdtRMAS
Hindus across Defence and the emergency services were invited to celebrate Raksha Bandhan (Bond of Protection) by the Wellingborough Hindu temple on 2 Aug 22.
The Deputy Lieutenant, High Sheriff Northamptonshire, Mayor Northampton and Deputy Mayor of Wellingborough also attended.
The last Sunday of term means Colours to Chapel. The Academy Colours are marched in and laid on the altar as we remind ourselves what we’re about.

Always a little strange to see someone doing your very niche job on film @KingsmanMovie Points for anyone who can tell us what’s missing from the Chapel in this scene. @RMASTrust - unfortunately you’re not allowed to play - it wouldn’t be fair! #mondaythoughts#vocations
@RuthMGee It’s pretty good in the royal memorial chapel being sung by 800 Officer Cadets with a military band, organ and choir! But of course, sadly it’s ‘redeemer’
Another Baptism today in the Machine Gun Font - so named because it is made from the melted down regimental silver when the Corps disbanded. Talk about fantastic symbolism! Click for the full picture.

@Jamie_Harle_@lucycthomas When you find yourself in a wet Brecon woodblock rather than the Caribbean then you might find yourself eligible for a sweet.
When the Platoon Commander’s away…the Padre will take the salute on their behalf. Intermediate Term Drill Competition on a glorious morning. Just a normal #FridayFeeling#drill #. @AcSgtMaj_RMAS @RMASandhurst@Corpsarmymusic
@burgonsoc@KingsmanMovie@RMASTrust You could always find out whether it was historically accurate. I’m guessing the Revd Mr Woods would have been in post.
