@ClaremontRun In Secret Wars 1984 the Beyonder placed Magneto with the heroes. The Avengers see Magneto as a villain while the X-Men view Magneto as a potential ally. Jim Shooter does a great job writing Magneto and where he stands in the Marvel Universe.
