Maker/Member Jacques’ final sculpture for an apprenticeship over the summer at Sloss. Entitled “False Promises”, it was made mostly of cast iron, clay, steel wire and the chair was made by him as well.

This gorgeous Cinderella’s pumpkin coach was created by maker Shawn using the laser cutter.

Pumpkin was rotationally molded with urethane resin, the stem was 3D printed them molded. The back light plate was vacuum-formed.

Super happy with the personalized, engraved wood, nest wall plate I made @RMM_Bham. This was something of a prototype...I'm looking for an excuse to make a version 2 if anyone wants to commission one.

Summer Adventures ln Learning (SAIL) has over 20 programs run by different organizations to help students retain their knowledge over the summer. They have classes and activities Monday through Thursday, and do field trips on Fridays.

Recently, we hosted our first youth focused educational program, teaching 12 students from @gk_community SAIL program how to turn a pen and forge a nail.

As with everything at a makerspace, "Our next one will be [even] better!".
