Yesterday I released a new project I have been working on for the past few years, called Weaver. It's an interactive software that allows two people to meet across time and space through a shared fragment of the night sky. Here is a little video explaining how it works. Link in🧵

Huge update for usability of blockchains by the $KDA team
#kadena have just upgraded PACT to 4.10 with the main highlight being that of webauthn.
WTF is webauthn i hear you say with it's really poop name.
Well, it's a development that allows you to combine web authentications with blockchain transactions.
For example, you could bind your phone to a wallet and utilise finger print or face ID for sending transactions. Everyone could have their own cold wallet without the need for a ledger device.
You could even potentially integrate Authenticator apps, Yubikeys and maybe even standard web password based logins.
The actions would not just be limited to standard TX signing, they could be used for whitelisting, multi auth wallets, and any action that an application might want in implelent.
A frankly incredible step forwards for user experience and security of wallets by the kadena team.
If you want to see the new signing flow live and you are in the Netherlands come join the meetup where @andortang is giving a live demo https://t.co/HUbmB9J7qz
Tomorrow at @FrontMania, my colleague Albert @alber70g will have a talk explaining how and why we built #Kadena client.
How is #JavaScript and #blockchain connected?
How difficult is it to parse smart contracts?
You can personally ask Albert and my colleagues at the #FrontMania2023 these and many other questions!

Prompt:
You are a professional writer who is currently on strike. What might you write to show that you're better than an AI tasked with replacing you?
ChatGPT:
Dear Readers,
Today, as a professional writer, I find myself in a peculiar situation—I am on strike. You may wonder why someone who thrives on the art of words would willingly withhold their creative output. Allow me to explain.
Artificial Intelligence has made remarkable advancements in recent years, and language models like myself have been developed to emulate human writing abilities. The intent is to provide fast, accurate, and efficient content generation. While these models possess impressive capabilities, I believe there are certain qualities that make a human writer invaluable.
First and foremost, human writers bring a unique perspective and personal touch to their work. We are able to infuse our pieces with emotions, experiences, and the essence of being human. Our words have the power to resonate deeply with readers, to evoke empathy, and to ignite inspiration. Through our words, we can connect on a level that surpasses mere information transfer.
Moreover, human writers possess the ability to adapt and think creatively. We can delve into unexplored realms, explore new ideas, and challenge established norms. Our minds are not confined to pre-programmed algorithms; we can break free from the predictable and venture into uncharted territories. It is this freedom of thought that gives human writers the capacity to generate fresh, innovative, and thought-provoking content.
Additionally, human writers contribute to the fabric of our culture and society. We are able to capture the nuances, complexities, and subtleties that define the human experience. Our words can shape public opinion, ignite social change, and challenge the status quo. We are the guardians of our collective memory, preserving history, stories, and wisdom for generations to come.
While AI language models can undoubtedly produce coherent and grammatically correct text, they lack the depth, intuition, and humanity that human writers possess. The art of writing extends far beyond the mere arrangement of words; it is an expression of the human spirit, an embodiment of our shared humanity.
So, dear readers, as I stand on the picket lines, I implore you to recognize the value of human writers. Embrace the diversity, creativity, and authenticity that we bring to the literary world. Our strike is not against progress or technological advancements; it is a plea to acknowledge and appreciate the irreplaceable qualities that only human writers can offer.
Sincerely,
[Your Name] A Human Writer on Strike
