@TheAbbeyRoadie@thorgonator And if you account Secrets of the Furious Five into the mix, The Lee Da Kung Fu Academy mostly had bigger animals like oxen, rhinos, crocs, and boars with Crane being laughed at for wanting to try out, giving your explanation even more reason to be canon.
Tim Allen says he wanted to make sure that Pixar got the Woody & Buzz reunion right in โTOY STORY 5โ.
โThey did it with such a genuine short clip moment โhey missed you buddyโ then we're back to being buddies.โ
I loved Toy Story 4 and 5 but watching the latter one, I realize an issue with both for me was they lacked an exciting climax. Rewatching 2, it ends with the toys racing down an elevator shaft, hijacking a truck, confronting The Prospector and escaping a plane taking off!
I loved the ending to this movie as much as anyone, but this is always the scene that breaks me. The silent acceptance as the toys embrace and that final look between Woody and Buzz is devastating
The guy really didn't have to take it so hard on the Transformers One director, actually thinking he's evil.
Like we get it, you don't like the movie but that was just mean
Fun fact #184.5:
In November 2018, Tom Hanks claimed that the ending of Toy Story 4 was emotional and "a moment in history." He also added that he couldn't face the crew while recording his final lines because he got emotional with them. This came around six weeks after co-star Tim Allen said he couldn't get through the last few scenes because of how emotional they were.
@Carl_Nwakakwa Wait, this is a different studio? They look exactly the same, how is that possible? Thereโs always a noticeable difference when thereโs an animation studio change, how the heck did I not catch it?
TOY STORY 4 was released 6 years ago today.
The filmmakers struggled for years to crack the story, with major rewrites and creative overhauls taking place before they finally centered the film on Woodyโs journey of letting go and finding a new purpose.
This joke completely flew over my head as a kid.
Watching it as an adult, you finally realize Woody is desperately trying not to call Buzz Lightyear something a lot less polite than โtoy.โ
This is one of the greatest moments in cinema.
Buzz accepting he is a toy by citing the words Woody told him at the beginning, but showing no disbelief in the miracle he is performing. Breaking the reality he just accepted.
And Woody proudly shouting the mantra of Buzz's original dreams, admiting they aren't ONLY toys. Its just so beautiful.
Watched 'TOY STORY 5' as a special Fatherโs Day treat. Family loved it. A wonderful story with so much dang heart, and plenty of smiles and tears throughout. I wonโt rank it yet because recency bias is one of my weaknesses, but itโs a gem.
Never stop making Toy Story films.
#ToyStory5 proves that this franchise can stay relevant no matter how old you are. I had the biggest smile on my face watching these kids' imaginations run wild. But those poignant scenes hit hard. Jessie was a perfect character to lead this heartwarming story. I loved it.
