Faith, Family, and Longhorns! #GirlDad Job 2:10

Todd McShay isn’t giving up on Arch Manning as an NFL prospect. But he sounds pretty darn close to giving up on him having success paired with Steve Sarkisian at Texas.

“Are you trying to make him into something he’s not?”

@JBTakes_YouTube @SleeperCFB

[Rusty Martin @RMar2005]

@dannykanell Sark pre-determined Arch to throw the bubble screen, Florida watched tape and jumped the screen knowing Coleman wasn’t an option in the Sark offense.

[Rusty Martin @RMar2005]

Who is calling plays in practice this week? If it’s the same guy as last week then it won’t matter who is behind center. Is Sark going to trust Lacy to actually run the option parts of the RPOs? Is Sark going to install hot routes when we see obvious blitzes?

[Pete Thamel @PeteThamel]

Sources: Texas is expected to give an up-tick in first-team quarterback reps to redshirt freshman KJ Lacey Jr. this week in practice. Arch Manning still projects as the Texas starter. The uptick in Lacey’s reps is a signal that Texas could replace Manning if he continues to struggle.

[Rusty Martin @RMar2005]

@PeteThamel Who is getting the play calling snaps this week?

[Rusty Martin @RMar2005]

@tbhorka Talking heads afraid to call out the offensive guru and Qb whisperer.

[Rusty Martin @RMar2005]

@Hutton_Withrow @SportNState @TheChadWithrow Yes because bringing in a sophomore to run an offense that the senior can’t run would really make the offense take off.

[Rusty Martin @RMar2005]

Oh yeah? Well why don’t you hire him!

[Tyler Horka @tbhorka]

Florida’s Jon Sumrall on Texas:

“They’re really good on special teams. Banks, Jeff Banks, their special teams coordinator, I think is really one of the more aggressive, unique, challenging special teams guys to prepare for because they do a lot.”

[Rusty Martin @RMar2005]

@TN_Longhorn You don’t think Arch can complete screen passes like Ewers could? Arch is so bad at quarterbacking that he can’t retreat as the dline rushes him and dump the ball off to a RB or TE?

[Rusty Martin @RMar2005]

@CordSamuels All of them, if our OC will allow it.

[Rusty Martin @RMar2005]

@CordSamuels Unfortunately we were terrible all day in 3rd and short.

[Rusty Martin @RMar2005]

@tbhorka Then CDC needs to step in and force his hand. The special teams unit is abysmal.

[Rusty Martin @RMar2005]

@EricNahlin He makes offense harder than it has to be.

[Rusty Martin @RMar2005]

Good for OU, this is the best rivalry ever. As for Texas you weren’t going undefeated but you can’t keep playing poor undisciplined football and get away with it.
Jeff Banks should be fired, his special teams unit is atrocious and absolutely cost Texas the game today. #HookEm

[Rusty Martin @RMar2005]

@Ian_A_Boyd Sark makes offense harder than it has to be.

[Rusty Martin @RMar2005]

Bishop Jr took ankles on the touchdown catch! #HookEm

[Rusty Martin @RMar2005]

Sure hope the flags come out on the red team at some point.

[Rusty Martin @RMar2005]

Sark getting out coached. He’s guessing on short yardage and Brent is eating his lunch.

[Rusty Martin @RMar2005]

Casually watching Texas vs OU at a volleyball tournament and the offense looks pretty good. Wish we could’ve got in on that last drive.

[Rusty Martin @RMar2005]

RIP to the juice box guy!
