4A State Championship
Gonzaga Prep’s season-long mission ended exactly as planned, with a trophy raised high inside the Tacoma Dome. The Bullpups capped an undefeated 14-0 campaign by overpowering Skyline 34-16 in the title game.
6-foot-4 sophomore wideout Devin Culp delivered a breakout performance, scoring on two reverse runs of 16 and 59 yards and adding a key 43-yard sideline reception from Liam Bell.
Prep’s ground game was just as dominant as ever. Evan Weaver bulldozed his way to 135 yards and 2-TDs, while Bell added 115 rushing yards of his own. Behind those three, the Bullpups piled up 564 yards of total offense, a new state title record, along with three other championship game records: rushing yards (521), rushing attempts (83), and first downs (29).
The @XFLRoughnecks have re-signed CB Armani Marsh, per source.
@armani_marsh was a stud when healthy for Houston. He started in 4 of 5 games played, totaling 16 tackles & 2 PBU's. His huge FF in W6 turned the tide in that win.
Had an outstanding 90.5 Defensive Grade (@PFF).
