Sometimes life just isnt fair. I truly feel gutted n lost, n Im not sure how to put one foot in front of the other without you. Genuinely wish there was more I could do at the moment.π₯π₯π₯π₯π₯ππππ
@TennisUpdates26 so instead of having her be an alternate, we might end up with players ranked outside the top 12 as one?
hate to tell everyone this but her resume (Slam Finalist and a Masters 1000 winner) is better than anyone that isnt injured and didnt qualify for Indian Wells
@TennisUpdates26 just throwing this out there, the 8 event requirement is a ludicrous rule. How are we penalizing a player that was ranked outside the top 100 when the season started and was injured for a big portion of the season for not playing in 'enough' top level events!??!
@TennisUpdates26 If Sabalenka went undefeated at Indian Wells, she'd need Rybakina to accumulate less than 400 points in order to become #1.
and Mirra needs to go undefeated in Indian Wells to go ahead of her (if Rybakina wins 1 match in IW, she'd become #1 in this scenario tho)
@TennisUpdates26 the Year End #1 Ranking is interesting as well!
Rybakina has a 1050 point lead over Sabalenka and a 1304 point lead over Mirra.
Which means that currently, Sabalenka would need to at least make the final to become #1 (Rybakina couldnt win a match from here on out tho)
(1/2)
@kevindyke1@Tennisform ya when i saw her in Guadalajara, it was pretty evident that she belonged NOWHERE near a court for at least a couple of months.
hope she doesnt touch a racquet until the new year
