@DerrickEvans4WV@HoppyKercheval No but they died in the days and weeks after as a direct result. Brian Sicknick was assaulted and came in with injuries and had a stroke 2 days later. 4 others were assaulted and died by suicide as a result of the trauma from that day.
5 officers died as a result. Period.
@JoeyGarciaWV As a widow of a police officer killed in the line of duty, this infuriates me. What hypocrisy. I am so heartbroken and outraged for this family.
Today, we honor the brave men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty at the National Peace Officers Memorial Service. Hosted by the National Fraternal Order of Police, this solemn occasion reminds us of the courage, dedication, and selflessness of our law enforcement officers. We stand in solidarity with their families and loved ones, remembering their legacy and commitment to keeping our communities safe. #NeverForget #PeaceOfficersMemorialDay #HonorTheFallen #FOPStrong
Big week of campaigning wrapped up yesterday for #TeamMcCuskey with a day of ribbon cuttings, door knocking, and meeting local business leaders! Congratulations to #RedemptionServices in Beckley on the opening of your new facility - a truly remarkable team, husband and wife, making a difference in their community and others around #WV. After a great time in #Beckley, and a few sign deliveries, we made it down to the @HWVChamber for their annual dinner. Congratulations to @SenatorPlymale on receiving the Stephen G. Roberts Leadership Award, and thank you for your many years of service to our great state! A few more events between now and Election Day - see you all on the trail!
Check the screen shot. He posted at 1030 the night of the incident. I posted the next morning. I explained that in the comments as well so keep reading for the full information. Thanks.
He is at it again. Sharing details that were not yet public or on the news. Seems like he is using this tragedy for attention…. imagine that. I see a trend and it needs to stop. How dare you be so insensitive to our hero’s families.

@gwhs1987@WVAGFacts@WVGOP@wvsenate@WVMetroNews This was posted at 1030 last night as you can see on the screenshot. I’m still blocked from his campaign page so I cannot comment on it directly. Yes, he has censored a voter. Also avoided that question in the debate. Absurd.
@gwhs1987@WVAGFacts@WVGOP@wvsenate@WVMetroNews I have a personal problem with him.. he shared details of my husband’s murder that weren’t public. The details of the stabbing injury to the neck was not yet public. Likely some of the family and coworkers were not even aware yet. And he keeps lying about me. Voters should know.
@draufganger88@WVAGFacts@WVGOP@wvsenate@WVMetroNews I will never back down from someone who hurt my family and is blatantly lying about my name and reason for calling him out. But agree, politics is troublesome. I have zero interest which is why it’s absurd he accused me of working with his opponent.
