I am a Kirkcaldy born Bawbag. I've written a couple of books. 1 sells well, the other doesn't. I am currently writing a whisky guide. It may take a while, but the tasting journey is good for my mental health, if not my physical one. Feel free to recommend your favourites.
@Beathhigh Black and Blue by Ian Rankin was studied at St Andrews University in the 90s and 2000s. My son studied it in a Scottish Culture Course or something. Raith Rovers mentioned on about page 24. Random facts with a dram.
@lunch_holland@Beathhigh Ian Rankin or Orhan Pamuk? I have read both and drank an awful lot of Talisker. Talisker 10, Skye, Storm and Port Ruighe. Can't decide what my favourite Talisker is, but Rankin sure goes down better with a dram than Pamuk.
#TOTLIV Kane drink crap whisky. Probably that Hinch Peated Single Malt. Peat? Lies. There's no peat. It tastes like gin, not whisky. False advertising. Don't drink it.
Harry Kane is on it tonight though. Or maybe Bells. His head has gone. Crap Whisky Head.
@FavelaFeghouli You'd need to watch a game while drinking an awful lot of bad whisky to believe Firmino was ever playing poorly. Possibly 3 bottles of that Hinch Peated Single Malt. Terrible dram. Peat? Lies! It's like a crap gin. Firmino is boss.
@merseyrail I have a few spare buckets. I might go down Formby Station and try to clear the tracks of water. See if anybody will help me. That Donald Trump needs a new job. You guys should hire him to clear your tracks using buckets and spades. He will 'shut it down'.
@KingsbarnsDist Kingsbarns Dream to Dram is a lovely dram. It is light, smooth and has a hidden depth that you won't reach unless you dive into a large measure.
*Please drink responsibly + only dive into a large measure if you are over 18 + experienced in the drinking of spirits + whisky tasting
