@Cynthia79278513 @WrightMath314@joboaler@csubted I agree, number sense and number talks help build confidence because it allows for students to use their own unique perspective to subitize or solve mathematical equations. @csubted#EDEL5200#mathmindset
@WrightMath314@joboaler@csubted Number sense refers to a group of key math abilities. Number sense is so important because it allows for a steady foundation to deal with different numbers and equations. Students can develop number sense daily by participating in number talks #EDEL5200#mathmindset@csubted
@DrCaliGrit @WrightMath314@joboaler@csubted I always appreciate teachers that have given me partial credit on a math problem even though I got the answer wrong. They allowed me fail but they still motivated me to continue to get the correct answer by rechecking my math problem solving strategy.Allowed me permission to fail
@WrightMath314@joboaler@csubted motivation or a helping hand, but for all the finish line is still the same. We must ensure and encourage a positive mindset among students to allow the to tackle the next learning objective with full confidence.
@DomoniqueCruz17@teachsci8 Allowing SS the ability to take some control over their educational process can engage them to their fullest! Like you mentioned allowing them to create powerpoint, websites and videos can help them become engaged & possibly understand the lesson even more #csubted#csubedte4200
@teachsci8 A4) Teachers can allow students to use technology by creating presentations on Powerpoint, classroom polls on Google Forms, and videos on @Flipgrid to promote children publishing and producing with technology. #csubted#csubedte4200@teachsci8
@OronaJaime@teachsci8@doctor2pi Completely agree! Social media has portrayed a negative impact on the use of technology. Making it seem impossible for technology and social platforms to be beneficial toward students education. #csubted#csubedte4200@teachsci8
@CarolinaLeonTa2@Ststansberry@Duncannedd I completely agree!! I use Pinterest a lot for creative ideas, and the have a lot of teaching ideas as well as print outs that can beneficial in many different lessons!! its amazing! #csubedte4200#csubted
@Jessica25239764@Ststansberry I love that technology has helped bring in grades faster! I remember when I was younger teachers would always look down upon the end of the quarter because they had to manually grade assignments and test. Then following the long process of inputing grades #CSUBTED#csubedte4200
@Ststansberry A3) Technology is a very important tool that can help students, educators and schools communicate with each other. Google drive has been beneficial in my journey of education. It has helped write papers, create presentations and share them with other S or T #csubted#csubedte4200
@mrbluejay3@tom_karnes @EddiesClass @JediTeacher08 You did an amazing job!! the details are incredible! Although technology has allowed step by step instructions on how to do projects like these. Your hard work is never taken for granted! Great Job! :) #csubedte4200#csubted
@mvprincess4life @tom_karnes I had to create a powerpoint for the country of Mexico! The process was incredibly fun!! Although we never had the opportunity to create food from our assigned countries. Did you try any different foods during your course presentations? #csubedte4200#csubted
@teachsci8 A2) One of my favorite school experiences was creating a PowerPoint about the country of Mexico for my sociology class. This was my first time editing my own powerpoint presentation, and Iearned so much tactics to make powerpoint engaging and creative ! :) #csubedte4200#csubted
@dgar1098 @teachsci8 I am currently taking a course that utilizes Edmodo and It is great! I am able to check my calendar and see exactly what is due and when it is due, and students can comment on the instructors posts if any questions occur instead of writing a lengthy email #csubedte4200#csubted
