My friends, as I present myself for consideration to be Vice President of the House of Deputies, I ask your prayers in this time of discernment for me and for the Episcopal Church. 16/16 #GC81

Today I am announcing my candidacy for Vice President of the Episcopal Church’s House of Deputies. Should the House elect a lay person as president, I would be honored to work with the president in governance that fosters our participation in mission. 1/16 #GC81

In 2018, when I was honored to receive the House of Deputies medal, President Gay Clark Jennings commended my “faithful work to share her scholarship, wisdom and deep faithfulness with all of us in the church.” 15/16 #GC81
