It was an honour to meet with the UK's Chancellor of the Exchequer, the Rt Hon @Jeremy_Hunt. I was joined by key leaders from Bengaluru's #tech sector to discuss strengthening India-UK investment ties and supporting the UK’s goal of building the next Silicon Valley. (1/3)

I proposed 3 steps to achieve this. Firstly, the tech hub should be set up beyond London. Secondly, a liberal visa regime can attract worldwide talent. Lastly, companies must have global teams, comprising 50 percent of experts from within the UK and others from outside. (2/3)

Four 10s for the next 4 years: Today, #Bengaluru accounts for 95% of Karnataka’s IT/BPM workforce. At least 10 tier-2 centres must be positioned as IT/BPM hubs. They can contribute $10 billion to the state IT industry by 2030, generate 10 lakh jobs & establish 10,000 #startups.
