I told you that the impact of some policies put in place by President William Ruto's Government might not be felt immediately, but with time, you'll feel the positive impacts. I just called my gas vendor, and she has confirmed that indeed, the cost of refilling gas cylinders has significantly decreased. Initially, the cost of refilling a gas cylinder ranged between KES 2700 and KES 3000; that's for 13 kg; now it's at KES 2000. As for the 6kg, it's going at KES 850 and 1200, down from KES 1800. The prices vary depending on the vendor.

 Another policy that is likely to bear fruit is the fertilizer subsidy program. The much-anticipated harvesting in the next two months will see the cost of food drop drastically.

Anyway, the majority of Kenyans, if not all, have wild expectations of the person they voted for. In fact, most of those who voted for President William Ruto have turned against him and his government. I understand; this is normal.

This is why they get angry and agitated that things aren't happening soon and fast enough for them.

This is all normal. Human beings are like that.

As for me, I choose to remain positive and optimistic that President William Ruto will turn our ECONOMY around. I've never doubted his capability to change this country for the better.

It was exciting speaking to tens of energised and focused youth in entrepreneurship today in Gaborone, Botswana, where I represented our President H.E @WilliamsRuto.

Indeed, the second edition of the Forbes Under 30 Africa Summit rekindled my memories on how I entered business while at the @uonbi.

Despite securing formal employment, I remained focused and determined to succeed in business.

I seized the moment to prevail upon the Continent's youth to take charge of their ideas and incubate them to maturity. They must take advantage of governments that have given them latitude and created an enabling environment for business. They must grab and fly with the opportunities and remain resilient until they break even.

I was delighted to share the platform with the Vice President of Namibia Dr. Nangolo Mbumba and Nigeria's Minister for Sports Development and Development Mr Sunday Dare.
