Armed Forces Day parades around the country are traditions created back in 2006, with the date coming from the first investiture of the Victoria Cross at Hyde Park in 1857. His Majesty the King marked the 2020 Armed Forces Day with a speech in the presence of the Armed Forces.

Whilst we may not be able to commemorate Armed Forces Day in the real world, we come together on ROBLOX to show our commitment to service. From deploying to Malaysia to flying logistics missions over the Falkland Islands, thank you and have an excellent Armed Forces Day.

Tonight, the Coldstream Guards took up post at Royal Residences, relieving the Kings Colour Squadron at Buckingham Palace in the Changing of the Guard. Major IIXalenII of the Coldstream Guards takes up the post as Captain of the Guard until the next ceremonial changing.

Did you know; The College of Arms creates various colours for regiments of the British Army, both split in to the Kings Colours and the Regimental Colours. Displayed below are the Colours of the Coldstream Guard, Parachute Regiment, Mercian Regiment and the Royal Tank Regiment.

This day 205 years ago, the Coldstream Guards fought valiantly at Hougoumont, with Duke Wellington citing 'the success of the battle turned upon closing the gates at Hougoumont'. 205 years on, we still see the Battle of Waterloo as one of the most famous battles in history.

FORCESTV were at Windsor Castle tonight for Garter Day, where His Royal Highness Prince Albert was invested as a Royal Knight of the Garter. The Coldstream Guard lined the quadrangle, showing their role as a guard regiment.
