Today at Psych Club my former student shared about her work as an RBT! As a Senior Registered Behavior Technician she works with children with autism in supporting their developmental skills. We just finished our unit on Behaviorism and this was a perfect tie-in!

This past Saturday, October 29th, 2022, almost 600 students and 80+ advisors headed to Red Oak for the 2022 D3 Fall Conference! It was a huge honor for our StuCo to be able to host this Conference for our StuCo District from all over the DFW Metroplex. #stucostory 🧸🪀

Student Council will be selling a special Homecoming T-shirt this year for the entire Red Oak School District. You can find the website to order from the QR code or link on the flyer. $5 from each shirt sold will go to Anna’s Bake Sale Foundation for Childhood Cancer Research.

Attention Hawks, it’s that time of the year! You guessed it, Homecoming Season. We are less than a month from Homecoming, with that being said, Student Council is excited to announce this year’s theme. The theme for the 2022 ROISD Homecoming is “Once Upon a Homecoming”!!

For the first time ever my Red Oak Hawks (the school where I have been teaching for the last ten years) are playing my high school alma mater the (Killeen) Ellison Eagles. Gwen and I are making the trek down to see them for some Friday night football! 🏈😃
