Ronald Openshaw Nursery Education Centre. An inclusive nursery for 2,3 & 4 year olds to make new friends, speak & listen, explore & investigate, create & dream!
We have been very busy this week creating our own portraits… we have talked about the similarities and differences between us and our friends, what we think makes us special and even how much we have grown. You can really see how our mark making’s skills have developed.

What can your child be today?
Parental support and engagement opens up so many learning opportunities for children. Fostering natural curiosity through the foundations of STEM helps children to explore their interests and asks questions.

Back being busy at nursery. Some of the children have been busy helping Meena to weed the garden, ready for us to plant some of the seeds that we have been growing. I can’t wait to see how beautiful the garden is going to look!

We have been very busy at nursery this week learning about the festival of ‘Holi’. We have been exploring colours in a range of ways and have had lots of fun getting messy! #nurseryeducation#ronec#playyourwaytosucess
This week in the forest we learnt how to make our very own ladder using ropes and sticks. Vicky helped us create knots and we balanced really well! We had so much fun! #forestschool#nurseryeducation#RONEC
Did anyone see the aurora borealis (Northen Lights) in the sky this week? It’s extremely rare to see them in London and it was amazing watching the lights dance across the sky. Auroras occur when charged particles collide with gases in Earth's upper atmosphere. #auroraborealis
