1. We remember so that the Genocide against the Tutsi is never forgotten, never rewritten, and never diminished by time or distance.

2. 32 years later, the responsibility to confront genocide ideology remains urgent. Its persistence, as seen in the ongoing persecution and killings of Tutsi communities in Eastern DRC, is a painful reminder that hatred, when left unchallenged, evolves but does not disappear. It is a reflection of how deeply rooted this ideology remains and how dangerous silence and poor leadership can be.

3. To the young generation, this is our duty. We must stand firm against denial, against distortion, and against any attempt to blur the truth. There is no ambiguity in what happened in Rwanda. It is the Genocide against the Tutsi and naming it correctly is not optional; it is essential.

We remember. We stand. We protect the truth.
