Almost 3 years ago, we successfully used our #KROCS system for the first time. This new setup allowed us to drill a higher number of shorter cores and enabled the science team to proceed with a multi-year drilling program!

We have successfully completed our mission aboard the R/V Isabu in the Pacific Ocean!
Now, we will take some time to decompress and reset before our fourth and final expedition of 2023, starting in just 2.5 weeks!

Three years ago, we successfully tested our Korean Remotely Operated Coring System (#KROCS) for the very first time. This trial proved it to be a viable technology & allowed us to perform real work with it later that summer!
