Saga of the closed cafe car on @Amtrak #21 Texas Eagle today continues. No access. Trash box blocks stairs so can’t even use tables. Left CHI on time 1:45. It’s 3:10pm. How long does it take to count your stock and open? Who is the train manager? @narprail @TXRailAdvocate

Fresh fruit and yogurt is always a good breakfast, but as First Class Passengers, we should expect First Class Service.

8-11-18. New contemporary breakfast on #29 @Amtrak Capitol Ltd. Lots of fresh fruit (mango!), giant muffin, yogurt with granola, etc. and hot coffee. “A+” quality food but food attendant who just hands you the box. Not customer friendly at all.
