The 2050 RTP uses data & public input to identify potential improvements to bike & pedestrian infrastructure. Learn about the bike/ped count program here: https://t.co/s1dpSGUSHc and about the RTP's analysis of traffic stress for walking & biking here: https://t.co/nuxkUaS51k
The 2050 RTP analyzes things like traffic signal capabilities & EV charging infrastructure to inform project recommendations. Check out the "Smart Corridor Network" & "Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure" story maps on our website to learn more: https://t.co/2HnS20duUs
The 2050 RTP is identifying ways to improve the public transit experience. More shelters at highly used bus stops, safe crossings near stops, & expanded transit service are some examples. Check out the transit story map to learn more! https://t.co/zUHjB3981X

The RTP also includes a final project category for studies that research specific transportation issues & propose design or policy solutions to address them. This isn’t a major category type, but it's still an important part of the RTP’s investment strategy. #GreaterChatt2050RTP
The RTP’s Intersection/Operational/Technology project category can include upgrading signal timing, transit signal prioritization, smart corridor tech., and more. This work helps ensure that the operational flow of our transp. system is both efficient & safe #GreaterChatt2050RTP
Projects in the RTP's Bike/Ped/Complete Streets project category can include adding sidewalks, crosswalks, bike lanes, greenways, and more. Complete streets projects can also retrofit existing streets to better accommodate and protect all road users. #GreaterChatt2050RTP
