Raynes Park Community Church is a community captivated by the story of Jesus, and trying to authentically follow Him in twenty-first century London life.
In this week’s edition (27 May) of Salvationist, opportunities for us to share the Gospel in light of Pentecost are explored. This includes a Bible study written by one of our Salvation Army Officers, here in Raynes Park. https://t.co/x5GMNKaTOV

This evening it was wonderful to host the West Wimbledon Churches Together meeting. It was great to pray together, share updates and we even started to discuss Christmas! Let’s continue to pray for all of the church expressions within the local community.
This lunchtime I’m engaged in some Street Mission in Raynes Park (near Greggs). If you see me please come and say 'hello'. A big 'Thank You' to everyone who is donating, let's build community together in Raynes Park.

Today at @LondonMarathon partnered in some Street Mission with other Salvation Army churches. We cheered on the runners, gave out oranges, bananas, sweets and drinks to the runners, and entertained the crowd with Shieldy.

This Sunday we'll be back at the Scout Hut for Testimony Sunday, where there will be an extended opportunity for anyone to share. This is a time of encouragement when we can share what God is doing in our lives and perhaps what God is laying on our hearts.

This morning churches from across Raynes Park joined together for the Good Friday Walk of Witness. It was wonderful to follow the cross through the streets of Raynes Park as we continue to join in with God’s mission together.

For our Maundy Thursday contemplative reflection, we pondered over a series of Scripture readings, we reflected using some helpful questions, we engaged in symbolic acts of service, encouragement, repentance & renewal, and we shared in bread and juice.

‘Love God, Love Others’ underpins, inspires & motivates everything we do in every part of @salvationarmyuk. The same love that God gives to you, he wants you to offer to everybody that you come in contact with. It’s not an option or a suggestion. It’s a command from #Jesus.
Today being Palm Sunday we reflected upon “Jesus’ Triumphal Entry Into Jerusalem”. As we are approaching Easter, our object lesson used many items to help us remember various events and their significance associated with Holy Week.
