(( Lol I love how people are forgetting it's a reimagining and getting mad over lore shit. Yo, have you seen what they did to FF V I I? THATS A REIMAGINING TOO AND THAT FANDOM WAS MORE QUIET.
i keep thinking about how chris must’ve felt so powerless as her big brother here, hearing his baby sister suffering in the next cell and being unable to do anything :(
This was one of those evenings where she started to miss her brother, Chris. It had been a while since they last spoke. She stared at her phone with her coffee in hand, letting out a sigh as she picked it up and started typing. (Open RP!)
"Be grateful you didn't.." She half grumbled as she leaned in against his chest. "Not me directly.. Its TerraSave as a whole. How do you redeem a company that.. means to do good.. when the director himself was one of the bad guys?" She melted a little at his lips on her skin.
“Not any excuse to take out that frustration on you, even if you can’t blame them. It was still his wrongdoing.” He’s always done everything he can to pep talk her and this is no exception. He places a gentle kiss to her forehead. “Didn’t really know the guy, though.”
"After... Everything with Neil, the drama with the trade offs to opposing sides.. People are still holding on to that and.. I can't blame them but man... Give a girl a break..!" She lets out a tired heavy sigh as she closes her eyes for a moment. Taking in his comfort.
He playfully winces, before wrapping an arm around her waist and leaning his cheek against the top of her head. He lets out a deep sigh as his tired grey eyes go over the words. What she says gives him a twinge of annoyance, too. “Well fuck. No wonder you were feeling down.”
She rolled her eyes playfully, hitting his arm lightly as she sat on one of his knees. "I wish it was.. Oddly enough, the FDA would be easier to deal with. This is.. still clean up duty from the scandals and incidents with TerraSave.." She sighs, leaning back against him.
“Would you believe me, if I had said it was a lucky guess?” He continues to tease her lightly before sliding into her chair and looking at the mounds of paperwork on the desk. “Which are we dealing with? FDA or WHO?”
She beams from ear to ear, "See, Jill, you get it! It takes Chris a moment to even get to understanding." She sighs dramatically, followed by a light hearted laugh. "Nothing good ever comes out of being negative. That's been proven more than enough times."
She laughed a tiny bit, “You’re right about that talented woman as well and great at what what we do.” She fully agrees and smiled slightly, “It definitely doesn’t help a negative mindset never works out well.”
"Really? How'd you figure that one out?" She looked up into those tired blue eyes. They still held that shine to them as faint as it was from years ago. She got off the chair and patted it with her hand, leaning on the desk as she waited for his next move.
He lets out a soft snort, himself. A light exhale through his lips, following that. He had been buried to his eyeballs in paperwork and needed something uplifting. Her smile does the trick. “Red always happens to be a lucky color for me.”
