Yesterday, our students enjoyed perfect weather and were able to return to an in-person Amazing Race! As they engaged in the day-long adventure full of tasks and challenges, the students explored and experienced the beauty our wonderful city has to offer.
Although the clues are set by the teachers, this fun project fosters independence, teamwork, and navigational skills before and during the day. The students prepare for this event with orienteering, map reading, and independent research on monuments in downtown Chicago.
