@PrasantGopinat Don’t be so fixated on mortals.
Change is uncomfortable
But necessary
India our nation is stronger than one person
One party and one ideology.
Maybe when you would walk into college for your family you might want to rethink this.
@MeghUpdates India’s progress , present and future of nation’s youth has to be merit based.
Facilitate Indians.
Protect India’s welfare.
The current situation is unacceptable.
Change is inevitable now.
Why We'll Press NOTA
See @BJP4India's Misdeeds
In the BJP's 1989 manifesto too, there was OBC reservation, and by joining hands with VP Singh, the BJP brought OBC reservation to the country for the first time.
Before 2019, there was no OBC reservation in the central quota of NEET, which the BJP provided for the first time.
There was no reservation in the faculty of IIT and IIM, which the BJP enacted into law in 2019. Meaning, the BJP ruined IIT and IIM too
Before the BJP came to power in Odisha's medical sector, there was only 30% reservation, which the BJP increased to 50%.
Right after taking power in 2015, Modi added 47 new stringent (draconian) provisions to the SC-ST Act.
In no law of India were OBCs included in the scope of caste discrimination, but the BJP added OBCs to the UGC Act. Since 90% of Muslims also fall under OBC, now Muslims too have been given the right through UGC to impose the Act on us.
The BJP does 'Hindu-Hindu', but in 1989 when the Mandal Commission came, it was this same BJP that gave OBC reservation to Muslims too. Even today, across the country, the BJP is giving OBC reservation to 90 percent of Muslims.
Remember, the BJP will never remove Muslims from OBC reservation; it just uses Hindu-Muslim to grab power
Now tell me, why would the general society vote for the BJP, which betrays the general society after taking 90% of its votes?
Wherever there was no reservation, why did the BJP provide it after coming to power?
Spread this PLS everyone, the entire general society must know their true reality
Reservation was not given to remove caste-discrimination.
I repeat.
Reservation was not given to remove caste-discrimination.
Reservation in jobs/education is not mandatory.
I repeat.
Reservation in jobs/education is not mandatory.
ABSOLUTELY WRONG!!
1. Reservation in jobs/education are not mandatory Constitutional provisions.
Supreme Court has already clarified that neither Reservation is a Constitutional right, nor it's the duty of the state to provide it.
Reservations are mere enabling provisions. They aren't "Constitutional/Fundamental rights".
2. Reservation in politics (articles 330-332) are only mandatory constitutional provisions and they had a duration of 10 yrs (article 334), which has been amended 7 times to increase duration from 10 to 80 yrs.
3. Article 16-1 (equality of opportunity for all citizens) & 15-1 (no discrimination based on caste, religion, sex, place etc) ARE the fundamental rights!
4. Articles 15-4 & 16-4 are EXCEPTION clauses, to articles 15-1 & 16-1 respectively.
Without these exception clauses, any special provision, for any community, couldn't be provided! So these clauses had to be added under these articles.
That doesn't make them mandatory provisions!
Even Dr. Ambedkar clearly said that reservation is an "exception".
5. Language of articles 15-4 & 16-4 clearly show that govts are permitted or enabled (if they want) to make any "special provision" for specific communities, one of the special provisions could be reservation!
So reservation in job/education is indeed a policy issue!
6. We are raising voice against reservation misuse, FROM LAST 5 YEARS.
-We are giving solutions (keeping 50% limit sacrosanct, creamy layer in SC/ST, subcategorization, review of list/criteria, removal of over represented castes, economic criteria consideration, removal of Muslims/Christians/Buddhists from reservation), FROM LAST 5 YEARS.
-We are debunking fake narratives, fighting against demonization of GC, FROM LAST 5 YEARS.
-We have targeted every political party (Congress, RJD, SP, BSP, DMK, TMC), FROM LAST 5 YEARS.
So just because you can't see something, doesn't mean it doesn't exist!
And just because you believe something, doesn't mean it's true!
Don't guilt trip a section of population with the toxic and fraudulent narrative of
'thousands of years of caste oppression'
in an imaginary past.
Caste based reservations have to go.
No Compromises, and, that is that.
To well meaning people, allow support encourage people to participate in protest from where they stay.
Decentralise it.
People can do peaceful protest in their own cities , societies, colleges.
I’m not sure how effective this can be done but I think this might be a better approach
This looks like a long drawn battle
Decentralise it
Enable locals
Whoever is fighting against reservations is not against the idea of helping the disadvantaged. They are against the current form of caste-based reservations, where the benefits can continue across generations while genuinely disadvantaged people are left behind.
And those from reserved categories who blindly oppose any reform should at least understand the basic argument: questioning the system is not the same as opposing social justice. Merit, equal opportunity and targeted support can coexist.
Those demanding an end to reservations are traitors to the nation...
Ramdas Athawale, Minister of State in the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment.
Dear INDIA political parties and politicians
THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE TO YOUR VOTERS AS WELL.

🚨 BIG STATEMENT FROM POLAND
🗣️ “We are on India’s side when it comes to TERRORISM and SUPPORT your (Indian) right to pursue TERRORISTS everywhere they go.” 🔥
Lies being spread by the BJP IT Cell and their responses:
1. Claim: Two-thirds (2/3) majority in Parliament is required to end reservations.
Response: Absolutely not. Reservations are not a fundamental or constitutional right; they are entirely at the discretion of the state and central governments. The central government and state governments can end SC, ST, and OBC reservations with just a government order (GO - Government Order).
2. Claim: To bring reforms in reservations, such as removing any caste from reservations or applying a creamy layer to SC/ST, a constitutional amendment would be required.
Response: Absolutely not. The central government has full power to remove any caste from the reservation list and to apply a creamy layer to any category. Since reservations are not a mandatory right, the central government can make this decision whenever it wishes.
3. Claim: Reservations are necessary for the unity of Hindu religion.
Response: Absolutely not. The country's 90% Muslims are being given OBC reservations by the BJP government itself, even though it is entirely within the government's power to exclude Muslims from this reservation (since Muslims have not been historically oppressed in that way, nor did they ever pay jizya). But the BJP will never remove them; it just takes votes in the name of Hindus.
4. Claim: The BJP cannot exclude castes like Jat, Ahir, Meena, Kurmi from reservations, because a bill would need to be passed in the Lok Sabha and state assemblies for that.
Response: Absolutely not. The Constitution clearly states that castes that are 'over-represented' (those with representation exceeding their population proportion) cannot be given reservations. All these castes are over-represented in government jobs. The BJP government only needs to show the total number of government employees and the data on employees from these castes, and with just a government order (GO), they can be excluded from reservations.
