The Home Office is offering landlords double the market rate to kick out tenants and house illegal migrants instead.
Everything about this is disgusting - including the fact that it takes properties off the market for everyone else.
Yet again, this Government rewards criminals.
Teachers on the upper pay range are no longer entitled to a pay review every year. This is one of several changes in the updated Schools Teachers’ Pay and Conditions Document

How very clever you think you are, sweetheart.
A £5m gift, declared late, the story changed, an aide on tape. One almost applauds. You have found a puddle, Bridget, and called it a sea.
But we do not judge the house by the doormat.
Your party took £5.5m from Dale Vince. His green companies helped themselves to £110m in taxpayer subsidies and £3.5m in City Hall contracts. That is not a donation. That is a dividend.
And the resignations. Your last Prime Minister resigned. Your last Deputy Prime Minister resigned over £40,000 of unpaid stamp duty. Your last Chancellor was sacked. Three of them, one parliament, and you wave a cheque.
Reform have a gift under investigation. Labour have a revolving door and a donor with a contract. One hardly knows which to pity first.
You are up to your neck as well, Bridget. You merely call yours funding.
Run along now, hunny. We shall not kick a gasping thing.
Cope harder.
The @Conservatives tried to stop this trial.
This experiment on children is horrific enough. Now we are giving shopping vouchers to 11 year olds to try life changing drugs. There are just no words that can adequately capture how utterly appalling a path Labour has chosen.
What are we doing as a country?
@benonwine Do we expect anything less from the dog whistle? I can’t believe she is in charge of our children’s education. I hope Kemi takes her to the cleaners just like Bridget tried to when she got offended by hurty words.
Polygamy is illegal in the UK. Yet our welfare system pays out benefits to multiple spouses.
Conservatives @RicHolden helped introduce legislation to stop this today.
Wait so they have forced 1000s of SEND children out of their private schools, pushed them back into the mainstream and now cutting their funding?! I thought VAT on PS was going to fix everything in state schools? Things seem to be getting worse…
Hate to say “told you so” or to sound glib about something so democratically repugnant, but how much louder, or how more frequently does one have to say it? It’s insane to let politicians control schools.
1. Tax private schools & SEND support, pushing more children with needs into the state sector
2. Allocate more children with complex SEND to mainstream state schools in the name of 'inclusion'
Then...
3. Make state schools cut SEND-specific support staff to fund pay-rises
So that there is no ambiguity in my words. My position is clear.
Andy Burnham, the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, was involved in the cover up of the industrial scale gang rape of little White girls by Labour Party supporting gangs of Pakistani men.
Whilst mayor of Greater Manchester he was responsible for a so called ‘Assurance Review’ in Oldham that was nothing more than a sham. Even Maggie Oliver used the words ‘cover up’ to describe what took place on n Oldham.
Had Burnham and other Labour Party politicians succeeded in their efforts, there would be no national inquiry. His Assurance Review would have drawn a line and that would have been the end of it.
We continued the campaign when most had given up.
It is now for Baroness Longfield to call the Prime Minister to testify for his actions whilst Greater Manchester Mayor and Police & Crime Commissioner. If Longfield fails to call Andy Burnham, then the National Inquiry itself will also be viewed as a cover up.
I am in no doubt where this journey will end. By the time we have finished, either I will be in prison or politicians from across the nation will face imprisonment for their role in the cover up of the industrial scale gang rape of this nation’s children.

We forced the inquiry. Now we need the numbers to make sure they cannot control what happens next.
Unfortunately, we are reaching the end of the road where I can continue working this way.
The paid subscriptions have stalled. Worse, tens of thousands of people are now reading these articles without even joining the free mailing list. The audience is growing, but the number of people actually standing behind the work is not growing with it.
Over a million people engaged in my content this weekend. Only a small fraction followed up with a subscription to my newsletter This is becoming impossible to sustain.

Where’s all the money from vat on school fees? 6500 new teachers Philipson and Reeges lied this would fund! We’re minus 2000 and Philipson still in a highly paid job. Whilst Labour tax more out of school they wreck state schools!
@ICT_MrP Of course it would! Just look at private schools, the teachers in them aren’t necessarily better and many schools don’t have better facilities then state but the smaller classes make a huge difference to the children and teacher.
Badenochs speech was really very good just now.
Look, we have to be honest about 2024: the voters gave the Tories a brutal, necessary wake-up call🤦♀️We earned that loss.
Badenoch is doing all she can to recognise where it went wrong and to rectify it.
But looking at the wreckage of what’s happening now under Labour the British electorate faces a serious choice.
At the minute we are flooded with parties selling cheap, instant answers.
But shouting slogans won’t fix the country or reform a failing state.
Knee-jerk reactions are a trap.
We also know Labour’s default position is always the same: tax more, spend more, regulate more, and pretend the state can give us prosperity from a desk in Whitehall, or Number 10 North fgs.
It has never worked.
The real Conservatism Badenoch is talking about isn’t chasing the 24-hour news cycle with half-baked policy promises to win a headline.
It’s about doing the quiet, behind the scenes work to get the principles right first: liberty, state competence, and personal growth.
The choice ahead of us isn’t between different management teams.
It’s a choice between superficial soundbites that crumble under pressure, and a calm, serious plan designed to rebuild Britain’s foundations.
Intellectually Badenoch is head and shoulders above the rest - Common sense wise - ditto.
It would be a serious mistake to gravitate towards a political party because they shout the loudest.
We have to choose substance imo.
@Jebadoo2 “Misleading” is what she does. How else could anyone in a supposedly civilised nation, successfully force over 130 decent schools to close (in a nation desperate for them) and 43,000 children out of education? Maybe people should have spoken up then?
Back in the 1940s, William Beveridge drew up his plans for a welfare system that should be rooted in contribution and compassion.
There when hard times come and helping those most in need.
Yet our system now makes allowances for a man’s second, third and fourth wife - if the marriages took place overseas. This is a million miles from Beveridge’s principles.
And Ministers say polygamous married are recognised but don’t know how many W and can only say overseas uncle/niece and aunt/nephew marriages are “unlikely” to be recognised.
Today, backed by @KemiBadenoch@Helen_Whately and other @Conservatives, I brought forward my Bill to end recognition of polygamous marriages & explicitly exclude incestuous marriages in the welfare system.
This special treatment has gone on for far too long.
Today was the 1st hurdle.
On Friday 13 November, I hope @andyburnham and @UKLabour back my Bill.
🥀This really shouldn’t be a difficult decision. But let’s see how far Andy Burnham’s Welfare Party have fallen
The BBC has been accused of “brainwashing” children after a Mail on Sunday investigation found that BBC Bitesize was promoting what it described as “extreme” left-wing views on migration, Net Zero and inequality to millions of pupils.
One online game, Increasing Immigration, rewards players for choosing “open borders” and granting an amnesty to illegal migrants. The site also labels concerns that migrants may take local jobs as “prejudiced” and highlights the economic benefits of migration.
Pupils are encouraged to campaign for controversial Net Zero policies and join human rights groups such as Amnesty International. The site also praises Black Lives Matter and left-wing activists such as Greta Thunberg.
These are deeply alarming revelations. They add to concerns about the BBC’s political impartiality, particularly following a series of scandals, including its editing of a speech by President Trump.
