Hello everyone! This is my fursona Rune and I can’t wait to finally show her off! She is a zookeeper with a love for Jurassic Park and videogames!

A favorite memory of mine as an Animal Caregiver is running along side the enclosure with a tiger I cared for! It was a great form of enrichment (and exercise!) and built trust between keeper and animal!
Amazing art of this memory by @DDen009 🌿🐾

The top part of a Hornbills beak is called a “Casque”! It’s like a crown, and is used for displaying to other hornbills. Do you like mine? It’s very sensitive, but if you ask nicely I’ll let you pet it ;>
Happy #fursuitfriday!

I need to be banned from driving with the song Rasputin playing cause here I am resisting the urge to do the hand movements from Just Dance while I drive 😅
Say hello to the newest member of our northern white-cheeked gibbon family. Proud parents Ting and Max have welcomed their second baby boy, and big sibling Marv is close by. You can see the growing family together in Wortham World of Primates.
I currently work with 22 White Handed Gibbons (Hylobates lar). These arboreal lesser apes live in the canopies of Southeast Asia and are known for their famous tree swinging called brachiation! They have specialized wrists and long hook-like fingers to grasp branches!
