A meaningful May Day at the RPC HQ

In collaboration with the Chicago Teachers Union and Chicago Votes, we welcomed hundreds of CPS youth to our national headquarters for a civic engagement teach-in focused on voting, advocacy, and community building.

May Day brought the energy to our joint event with @RPCoalition

Students learned the importance of civil rights, including organizing their community, sharing their resources, and speaking truth to power. Our students heard from a powerhouse panel of speakers that included Richard Fowler, Dr. Adjoa B. Asamoah, Joshua Doss, and Charles Coleman Jr.

And a surprise visit from Lil M.U. got everyone dancing.
