Bernardo dropping outside the 541 defensive Chelsea block particularly on the left to allow Doku to stay on Gusto's outside shoulder. City likely preferring the left overload since quick switches of play in the Chelsea third allows them to play it across to Cherki on the right
Feels like Robert Sanchez should've at least laid a glove on that header? Angled header without much power, seems like the keeper could've done better there. Obvious issues with Santos’ marking of Nico as well
@sthsthburner Surprising that the ball hasn't broken to Palmer too often when Chelsea are trying to break. Gusto & JP are making the right runs (really liked JP's battle with Guehi) but Palmer just hasn't had the spark
Really enjoy Cucurella's actions going forward; it's always aggressive movements on/ off the ball to generate space for himself & others. Ideally should be paired with a flexible, ambipedal winger who can let him underlap, not sure how good Neto is as a wing partner
Arsenal'a diversity in profiles is pretty cool because swapping out Havertz/Eze/Øde for (example) Trossard completely alters the attacking dynamics. Similar alterations with ex. Timber – he causes Saka to push out wide whereas White allows Saka to play central

Does feel like Spurs have a little something to them especially with Simons ball carrying creating a real spark. Kolo Muani consistently breaking into space although think he's just more visible than impactful
Arsenal pinning Spurs deep & stretching the backline by maintaining the width with wingers or the fullbacks. Trossard & Eze should be able to slip between the lines if Spurs aren't more aggressive with their press & get out of their block
@ThatGooner Feels like he's hunting for the spaces when Spurs are stretched by the horizontal ball circulation, it just hasn't dropped to him yet in those precise spaces. Timber's been busy but overall a net negative in attack given what we typically see from Arsenal
@umirf1 It's surprising how weak Spurs look in a back three for a team that should have drilled the basics of sweeping across in a low block — Arsenal easily stretching them (Saka getting between the CBs) + overwhelming with late midfield runs
