@MattWeaverRA Carson reminiscing about a race he watched when he was 3…
I’ve been watching NASCAR since the’60s, when you might get 4 or 5 races a year and NASCAR fans have ALWAYS bitched about the racing. Let’s not forget that the guy in the car to the left, died in a race car.
@CrashGladys@IMS NASCAR fans only hate two things: The way things are. When things change. I wish I could remember where I saw this because it’s a great line and I’d love to give credit.
@jeff_gluck Jeff, I wonder how big a variable in the equation is the “who won” variable. Especially as popular as Denny is and seeing the opinion that Heim “stole” the race. Wonder what the results would be if Denny, or even Hocevar had won?
@weekley@PapaJohns Dave, I see your “I forgot the beer” checkout story & raise you “forgot my wallet.” I had finished emptying my cart, 6-8 bags, at self-checkout in Walmart. Went to pay & realized my wallet was in my car. I told employee staffing the checkout what happened ran to my car.
@BoziTatarevic NASCAR fans only hate two things: The way things are. When things change. I wish I could remember where I saw this because it’s a great line and I’d love to give credit.
@JohnAntonik Only cowboy player I ever liked. Such a shame his number wasn’t retired sooner, so Chuck could be there and enjoy it AND let the fans thank him.
