In 2020 Steve Cohen took over an organization that needed a rebuild.

He did rebuild. From the 20th ranked Farm System in 2020 to the 1st just 5 years later.

He did it while still TRYING to win through a rebuild.

That didn’t happen. But now he realized the organization needed a shift and a new feel and didn’t want to pay Pete Alonso the highest AAV ever for a Free Agent.

So now what you have is an organization with SUPERSTARS on Francisco Lindor and Juan Soto, the #1 Farm System in MLB, and a lot of freed up money to spend for the richest owner in MLB that WANTS to win.

Steve Cohen HAS to have something up his sleeve. And we better see it fast. Because the Mets and this fan base are crumbling.
