Our Société Honoraire de Français officers went above & beyond this year to give back. They started a weekly tutoring program with refugee students and created a website to teach English to schools in Benin & Senegal. @AATFSHF @RRISDWorldLang @WWarriorNation @AATFrench

Today Dr. Heather Pelletier, French professor from the University of Texas at Austin & former student John K. talked to IB French 5/6 class about a double major or minor in French, study abroad, internships & scholarships. So many opportunities to continue with learning French!

One for the books: all 4 Loyd siblings reunited with their little French teacher! Discussion topics included La Sorbonne, prep classes to enter Ivy League schools in Paris & volunteering for Aider Sans Frontières in Senegal. Théo, business student from France, also joined us.

Let’s debate! French 3 adv students engaged in a 30-min debate, showcasing their interpersonal speaking skills. One student said it was the most challenging yet most fun assessment! Another said that they didn’t know they could debate in French. 🇫🇷@WWarriorNation @RRISDWorldLang
