The Art of Living has executed jaltara in 37 villages in jalna, Maharashtra. Approximately 19000 small 4ft× 4ft on ground and 6 ft deep simple recharge pits were dug. Jaltara project not just helped in filling the groundwater aquifers but also increasing the water labels in wells
Our vision is to dig over 50 million recharge pits across 100,000 of the most drought hit villages in India in 5 years and thus recharge 30 trillion litres of water per year across India.
