Football icon Paolo Maldini has partnered with RRS International Development (@RRSDevelopement) on a $100 million NH Collection hotel (@nhcollection) and branded residences project on Al Marjan Island, marking a high-profile collaboration in Ras Al Khaimah’s hospitality sector. The mixed-use development will deliver 121 hotel keys and 36 branded residences, with completion targeted for 2027, introducing the NH Collection brand to the island for the first time.

Designed by B8 Architecture (@b8architecture), the project combines wave-inspired architecture with more than 20 curated amenities, including signature pools, wellness spaces, and destination dining. Commenting on the collaboration, Maldini said the project “combines the standards and experience of an established international brand with a lifestyle-driven concept that fits naturally with the destination.”

Rakesh Mirchandani, Co-Founder of RRS International Development, said the launch was met with “overwhelming interest,” adding that Maldini’s involvement reflects confidence in the project’s leadership and long-term vision.
